Work Package 3 brings together the knowledge, insights and practical resources that our partners have developed throughout the MAAS project, transforming them into an accessible eGuide for Job Brokers and Employment Counsellors. Instead of technical language or abstract “new methods,” our aim is simple: to give practitioners clear, expert-informed material they can use every day.
Through our Community of Practice and collaboration with specialists, we explored three areas that lie at the heart of the MAAS project:
- The changing job landscape in the European tourism sector
Tourism is rebuilding and reshaping itself, creating new opportunities and highlighting major skills shortages. Our eGuide offers visual material, examples and insights to help Job Brokers understand this sector—even if it is new to them. - The realities and needs of refugees, especially those displaced from Ukraine
Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians—mostly women and mothers—have sought safety across Europe. Many services know little about the backgrounds, education systems, or daily challenges these communities face. The eGuide helps bridge this gap by providing accessible information for both Job Brokers and employers. - Bringing the MAAS model to life: Match, Attach and Sustain
We explain how Job Brokers can not only match refugees and vulnerable job seekers to opportunities, but also attach them to employers through active support and, importantly, sustain those placements with quality aftercare and follow-up.
As digitalisation continues to transform employment guidance, WP3 offers the human framework behind it. While WP4 provides the eTracking Tool, WP3 focuses on the understanding and resources that allow Job Brokers to use new tools and approaches confidently and effectively.
Our goal is to equip practitioners with practical, engaging content that helps them navigate skills shortages, support vulnerable communities, and make the most of new opportunities in the European tourism labour market.
Our eGuide brings all of these insights together in a practical, easy-to-use digital format.
